Screeded Underfloor Heating

Screeded underfloor heating is a wet (water-based) underfloor heating system in which heating pipes are embedded within a screed layer — a poured flooring mix (cementitious or calcium-sulphate/anhydrite liquid screed) that covers and encases the pipework. The screed provides a flat finished subfloor and thermal mass to evenly distribute and retain heat from the pipes.
