 GT Underfloor Heating was founded and is led by Director Graeme Gunning, who brings more than two decades of hands-on experience in low‑temperature heating and renewables. Graeme began his career as an apprentice over 20 years ago, learning the practical skills of installing heat pumps and underfloor heating on site and quickly developing a deep understanding of how systems perform in real homes and projects. After his apprenticeship he progressed to senior roles with major heating contractors, working as a contracts manager where he oversaw complex domestic and light commercial installations, coordinated multi‑trade teams and ensured projects were delivered on time, on budget and to the highest safety and compliance standards. That blend of field experience and contract management has given Graeme exceptional technical knowledge of designing energy‑efficient heating systems, from accurate heat‑loss calculations and low flow temperature strategies to correct insulation, zoning and control specification that maximise performance and minimise running costs. Complementing his heating background, Graeme has also worked in the solar industry, gaining practical insight into renewable integration and how solar thermal or photovoltaic systems can interact with underfloor heating and heat pump solutions to further reduce carbon and energy bills. Under Graeme’s leadership GT Underfloor Heating combines meticulous system design, professional installation practice and clear client communication, offering free site surveys, bespoke proposals and reliable aftercare across Cardiff and South Wales. The company’s approach reflects Graeme’s commitment to quality workmanship, regulatory compliance and delivering practical, energy‑savvy heating solutions that stand the test of time.
