Initial survey and design
- For the underfloor heating survey and design for a four‑house modern housing development we carried out site visits and measured each dwelling, completed room‑by‑room heat‑loss calculations, and reviewed floor build‑ups and insulation levels. The scope included recommending system type, pipework and manifold sizing, detailed pipe layouts and zoning plans, control strategy and thermostat locations, specification of insulation and screed/thin‑floor requirements, commissioning and balancing procedures, and a tender‑ready bill of materials and cost estimate. Deliverables comprised scaled CAD drawings, wiring and plumbing schematics, performance calculations, compliance notes (building regs/standards), commissioning report, and basic maintenance/user guidance.

Ground floor solution
- For the underfloor heating installation across the four‑house development we installed 150mm Kingspan floor insulation with perimeter expansion strip, laid 16mm PERT‑a‑PERT pipe at 150mm centres and connected runs to stainless‑steel manifolds, wired zonal thermostats for individual room control, and poured 45mm liquid screed to encapsulate the circuits. Work was coordinated closely with site contractors to ensure sequencing, interfaces and quality, and the project concluded with a full handover pack and an on‑site tutorial for the end users.
